I do guide for the Trappers Lake Lodge near the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. If you are going to be up in this area and would like a guided fly fishing trip, fly fishing or fly casting lessons or would like to learn the art of fly tying, call the lodge at (970) 878-3336 and book a trip through them.
If you would like to go to places such as Alaska’s Kodiak Island, Situk River, Lake Illiamna or the Kenai Peninsula to chase salmon, steelhead and char, and have a budget that you must stick with, I can help you get your trip of a lifetime on a realistic budget and not break the bank. These are all customized trips so contact me and we can put something together that you will certainly enjoy.

Custom-Tied
Flies
I also provide custom tied flies for those with particular tastes and needs. If you come by the Fly Fishing Show in Denver or the West Denver TU Fly Tying Clinic, the ISE (International Sportsman’s Expo) in Denver or The Western Colorado Fly Fishing Expo you will be able to see the flies I tie.
I am also a Professional Fly Designer for the Umpqua Feather Merchants and you can purchase my flies by asking for them at your local Fly Shops or you can try calling them at (303) 567-6696 and ask them where you can purchase some of my fly patterns near you.
Fly Fishing Adventure packages start at $300 per day…
Fly Fishing Adventure packages start at $200 per day for a standard wade fishing trip, but rarely exceed $400. It all depends on which destination you would like to take part in and what it will take to get there.
For the even more budget minded adventurers, there are closer places to go to, to chase our favorite fishes such as the Pacific Northwest to chase steelhead and salmon, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah or Montana for trout, bass, pike or carp!
I also provide custom tied flies for those with particular tastes and needs. Please send me an email with types of flies you like and we can go from there. Since all flies have differing costs, and can be affected by the style of hook you would like me to tie them on, I will quote you on your specific order, type and style. I do a lot of articulated streamer patterns that are very difficult to find in fly shops, or even via online catalog ordering. I also ensure the highest quality components and stand by my work!
